North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) was founded in 1987 under the Meghalaya Registration of Societies Act 1983 by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The primary aims and objectives of NEIGRIHMS has been designed under four subjects - Medical Education & Human Resource Development, User Friendly Patient Care System with State-of-Art Technology, Central Research Organization with Primary and Advanced Research Facilities, Health Consultancy Service in Regional and Central Health Schemes. The institute has 35 Postgraduate Departments on the line of PGIMER, Chandigarh and AIIMS, New Delhi, PG College of Nursing and Pharmacy.

Pay Scale – Rs. 15600 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400 + NPA + Other allowances.

Eligibility:

Age criteria – The age limit for the post is 30 yrs.

Qualification – The candidates must have Medical qualification included in the schedule I and II of the 3rd schedule of Indian Medical council Act 1956.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the interview to be conducted by the institute.
