North Estatern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) was established in the year 1987 under the Government of India. It was established as an autonomous institute under the Meghalaya Registration of Socities Act 1983. The institute was established by the then Prime Minister Late Rajiv Gandhi. The institute is dedicated to the memory of Late Indira Gandhi, who was also the former Prime Minister. The institute has gained the status of Postgraduate Medical Institute. The institute has been the first medical institute in the North Eastern Region.

North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences is looking forward to recruit eligible and qualified candidates for filling up the following posts of Executive Engineer, Bio Medical Engineer, Estate Manager, Accounts Officer, Assistant Accounts Officer, Junior Accounts Officer and Private Secretary purely on contract basis.

1. Recruitment of Executive Engineer (Electrical Engineering):

Educational Qualification: B.E. in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university. Minimum 10 years experience of regular service on Assistant Engineer grade.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 25350 per month.

2. Recruitment of Bio Medical Engineer:

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Bio Medical Engineering from a recognized university. Minimum 3 years experience in the relevant field is also required.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 21000 per month.

3. Recruitment of Estate Manager:

Educational Qualification: B.E. in Civil Engineering from a recognized university. Minimum 2 years experience of regular service in Management of Estate is also required.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 17140 per month.

Educational Qualification: Degree from a recognized university with minimum 5 years experience of regular service as Junior Accounts Officer.

Educational Qualification: Degree from a recognized university with minimum 10 years experience of regular service in relevant field.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 13500 per month.

7. Recruitment of Private Secretary:

Educational Qualification: Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized institute or university with Shorthand or Stenography and typewriting speed of atleast 120 words per minute on Computers. Minimum 5 years experience as Stenographer Grade-II is also required.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 17140 per month.
