The institution was established with the resolution to become the best Vidyapith. The institute was given the status of “Deemed University” in the year 1963 by the U.G.C. The main objectives of the institute are to enhance and propagate the development of Indian civilization & culture based on spiritualism, to enhance and propagate homogeneous intermingling of all the sections of Indian society, to enhance and propagate coordination among different thoughts and cultures, etc.
