The Delhi Technological University came into existence as Delhi College of Engineering during the 1941 under the Act of Govt. of NCT of Delhi. The university has 69 years of experience in Engineering & Technology Education, Research and Innovations field. The Delhi College of Engineering joined with University of Delhi in the year 1952 in order to start formal Degree level Programmes. The college was under the direct control of the Indian Government’s Ministry of Education till 1962. The college came under the control of the Delhi Administration in 1963.
