can u plzz suggest which govt colleges in india offer seats for direct admission in 2nd year through LEET examination? Does PEC Chd have seats for LEET qualifying students? plzz.. reply soon.............. thnk u...!!!

most of the government colleges have 10% percent seat reserved for lateral entry. but IIT don't have any lateral entry. every private colleges also have lateral entry.

so you may try for admission in government colleges through LEET(Lateral entry entrance Test). this is a state level examination. after diploma students are eligible for LEET examination. through LEET examination candidates are directly admitted in to second year of engineering.

in PEC Chandigarh may also have lateral seat for every branch. but to be sure contact with the institution then you will get exact details about the lateral entry seat. visit the website http://www.pec.ac.in/ you will get all details.

but not directly entry
you give the entrance exam
after you clear this or got a good rank then you reserve a good college seat....

I am very sorry to say that PEC Chandigarh does not offer Lateral entry admission to Diploma holders.It offers admission to only candidates having cleared 12th with Non Medical field.Moreover there are very few Government Engineering Colleges in India which offers admission to Diploma holders,but here is the complete list.
