Associate Professor - North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology (NERIST)
North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology (NERIST) was established on 4th March, 1984 by the Government of India. The foundation stone for the institution was laid by the former President of India. The first batch of students was admitted to the Base Module in 1986.
The institute had successfully produced ten batches of Graduates with specialization in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Civil engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and communication Engineering, Electrical engineering and Forestry by the year 2001. NERIST is totally funded and directly controlled by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), New Delhi from 1994.

North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology (NERIST) invites application from eligible candidates for the post of Associate Professor.

Pay Scale – Rs. 37400-67000 + AGP of Rs. 9000
Eligibility:
Educational Qualification and Experience – The candidates must have Ph.D. with first class in Master’s or B.Tech Degree in relevant discipline with a very good academic record. They must have minimum eight years experience in teaching and/or research with experience as Assistant Professor or equivalent grade. They must also a minimum of 5 publications as books and/or research/policy paper.

The candidates are selected for the post through interview.
