Information Regarding Entrance Examination for B.Tech final Year.

If you are a B.Tech final year candidates and want to know the entrance examination in which you can appear in the final year of B.Tech course. First i want to know that in which field you are interested. You not mention in the question that in which field you are interested. Here i give you the some information for the master degree course.

Some important point :-

Exams after Graduation

If you want to do specialization in your stream an want to continue in your line then you should go for M.Tech and should appear for the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) exam..

clearing this exam with a very good rank will enable you to get into a top M.Tech college like IITs,BITS,IISc,etc and you will be assured of a very good job in a core company..


If you want to go in for management then you should go for MBA (Masters in Business Administration)..

For getting into a top MBA college..you need to clear any of the following exams with a very good rank..

CAT (Common Admission Test)
XAT(Xavier Aptitude Test)
MAT
FMS
Symbiosis

Clearing these exams will enable you to get a very good salary and get into the top MBA colleges like IIMs

If you are interested in joining the elite government jobs then you can appear for the Civil Service Exams
For appearing in the Civil Service Exams you need to satisfy the following conditions :-

1) You should be a graduate in any stream from a recognized college..

2) you should be within the age limit of 21-30 years for general,21-33 years for OBC and 21-35 years for SC/ST

The maximum number of attempts for General is 4,for OBC its & and for SC/ST there is no limit..

so you need to choose according to your interest..

There are so many entrance examination where you can go through like ...

1. GATE(Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering)
2. IAS(Indian Administrative Services),IES(Indian Engineering Services)
3. CAT,MAT,JMAT,XAT etc.

So according to your capabilities you can proceed in any of the above.It's depend up on your intelligence, your family background etc.

M-TECH :- You must be cleared the GATE exam some institute provide M-TECH without gate score.
