The paper of Drawing and Painting is quite important, as candidates are offered with the maximum opportunity to score high, and thus boost up their overall marks in the final tally. In this paper they learn to express their imagination on a sheet of paper with different shades of colour. The best painter always comes up with a unique style of painting different from all other.  

Division in the paper:

The paper is completely divided into three different parts, namely Part A, B and C.

Pattern of the paper:

The Paper has a dedicated pattern, and the first part carries a total of 10 different short questions. Drawing, painting as well as subjective based questions appear in this part. All of these 10 questions are compulsory to attempt. However candidates are offered with few reliefs as the second parts comes with options, and carries 8 different questions, out of which candidates have to attempt any 6. The third part carries the legacy and there are 3 different questions, and candidates have to attempt any 2.

Markings

The total marking of the paper is 60. The first part has 10 marks, the second has 24 marks and the third has 16 marks. The Board strictly lies down to avoid any kind of negative markings of any kind in the paper.

Time allotted for the examination:

The total time allotted to the appearing candidates is 3 hours.
