Civil Engineering is one of the many engineering courses offered by the Punjab Technical University. The course is of four years, spanning across 8 semesters. In the fifth semester, students have to study a paper on Structural Analysis- II. The paper code of the subject is CE-305.

Divisions and Total Marks

The exam is of three hours duration and the total marks carried are 60. These 60 marks are divided into three sections. Section A, which consists of objective type questions, is a compulsory question.

Details of the Question Paper

There are three sections in the 60 marks paper. The first section carries 20 marks, the second one carries 20 marks and the third one also carries the same marks. However, marks carried by individual questions are different in different sections. The first section has 10 questions, each carrying 2 marks. All the questions are compulsory. The second section has five questions, out of which four are to be attempted. Each question carries 5 marks. The last section has three questions- all long answer type ones. Students need to attempt two questions. Each of the questions is of 10 marks.
