Textile Designing
Textile industry is one of the oldest industries of all times. The designing section of the industry is its backbone. Textile designing needs a great amount of creative as well as technical knowledge about the work. Creative knowledge is important because it is required in making new designs, weaving, knitting and finishing process and the technical knowledge is required to handle different machines, looms etc. There are many fields to be concentrated upon by the textile designer but the most important is the fabrics. The textile designers have to study about different fibres according to the needs of the customer.
Textile designers should also have technical knowledge in order to create different designs on the graph paper and also sometimes the complex designs have to made on the CAD (computer aided design ) .The field of textile designing calls for many individuals for different jobs like designers, technicians, technologists, marketing staff.
