Course Eligibility:

For seeking admission to the UG course in information technology, candidates must have completed their 10+2 with English, mathematics, chemistry and physics subjects. Some government colleges require that candidates must not be more than 23 years of age for getting applying to this course.

Selection procedure:

Most of the Government colleges admit students to the B.E/B. Tech information technology course, based on their performance in the either the National level entrance examination or state level entrance examination. In the case of National Institute of Technology, candidates must get through the AIEEE examination.

Higher studies after UG degree in Information Technology:

On completion of UG course in Information Technology, candidates can take up Master’s degree course in information technology or they can also take up Master’s degree in any other branches of engineering. They can also take up their higher studies in foreign countries and for doing this, they will have to take up entrance examinations like GRE and GATE.

    I wana to do B.E./B.Tech with IT. I want to know the basic diffrence b/w hardware and software engineer and which get more salary and in which field? Can IT will done with hardware engineering? What is the work of a software developer and web developer and what is the minimum salary?

    Please suggest best government colleges for IT which have less fee structure and have direct admission or seperate entrance exam.
