what is the opportunity in government job by doing B.tech in information technology,please give me detail about it.

Their are very less opportunities for IT & CSe students in government sectors .

Their is a job for It student in judicial complex

Their is a job of IT officer & IT Manager in Bank

The opportunities of governmental jobs after B.Tech are as follow.
IES Examination
Indian Railway (It offers top jobs mainly to the IES qualified candiadtes but
sometime separate exams is conducted which is subject to the availability
of vacancies)
BSNL (BSNL JTO exam is conducted almost every year)
SET (Scientist entry test is conducted by DRDO every year)
ISRO (Mostly vacancies comes for experienced personals)

Apart from these almost all PSUs recruit IT graduates depending upon the
existing vacancies.
So, I would suggest you to refer Employment news weekly so that you can get
the information about the jobs if any such notification comes.

The governmental jobs which you can apply for after completion of B.Tech are:
Civil Services Examination
IES Examination
Indian Railway
Indian Postal services

BSNL JTO examination

DRDO junior scientist examination

Also all major governmental sector companies offer jobs to IT graduate
students subjected to requirement..

There are a whole lot of options available. You can consider appearing for the UPSC (Civil Service ) exam. Also you have the option for Railway exam. You also have options like appearing for the UGC NET exam, BSNL exam, Bank entrance exam etc. Also there are some IT companies the notification will be published in newspapers in case of vacancy.

Well rahul,

There are lots of Government jobs in which a guy with Information Technology Background can apply for it.

For Example:- you can apply for railways, Indian army, Indian air force.etc.

Even you can apply for Different upsc Exams. and PSU's exams.

You can give exam of BSNL, MTNL JTO (IT) exam.
Other than it you can apply in PSU companies like SAIL etc for it you have to visit their website.

You can also join Indian Air Force in techanical Branch

Opportunities in Government Sector for B.Tech IT Students is really less but

there are certain exams like of BSNL, MTNL JTO (IT) exam.

but i will say that don't loose heart private sectors are having enormous

opportunities in IT sector .
