Andhra Bank was established by a multifaceted genius and eminent freedom fighter, Dr. Bhogaraju Pattabhi Sitaramayya. The bank got registered in the year 1923 and it commenced its operations in the same year with an authorized capital of Rs. 10 Lakhs and a paid up capital of Rs. 1 lakh. The head office of the bank is located in the city of Hyderabad and it has totally 1657 branches in different parts of India and two representative offices. Andhra Bank invites online application from eligible candidates for the position of Technical Officer (MMGS-II) and some of the details regarding this position are given below:

Name of the position: Technical Officer (MMGS-II)

Number of Vacancies: 30 (SC – 5, ST – 2, OBC – 8 and UR – 15)

Pay Scale: Rs. 19400-28100. Approximate monthly salary inclusive of HRA, CCA, DA and basic pay at the beginning at metropolitan cities is Rs. 31270.

Eligibility requirement:

Educational Qualification: For the post of Technical officer (MMGS –II), candidates must be UG or PG degree holders in chemical/civil/electrical/mechanical engineering with not less 60% of marks or equivalent CGPA. In the case of candidates belonging to PWD/ST/SC/Ex-servicemen category a relaxation of 5% of marks is allowed.

Experience: Minimum three years working experience in a bank/financial institution in credit.

Selection procedure:

Selection of candidates for the position of Technical Officer (MMGS-II) will be based on written test and/or group discussion and/or interview. Bank has the right to decide whether written test/GD/interview should be held based on the nature of the position. Irrespective of the type of test conducted candidates must secure not less than 40% of marks (35% in the case of PWD/ST/SC candidates).

How to apply:

Candidates will have to apply online through the website of Andhra Bank between 21st of May and 9th of June 2011. After submission of online application, candidates will have to take a printout of the system-generated registration form and should keep it safe for future use and this should be submitted at the time of examination if asked. The fee for applying to the position is Rs.400 (Rs. 75 in the case of reserved category candidates) should be paid at any of the branches of the Andhra Bank or through online NEFT.
