West Bengal University of Technology is one of the most reputed universities in the country. Students from all over the country study at this university. The university offers courses in various streams, especially engineering. During the 8th semester of B.E, electrical engineering students of the university have to study Values and ethics and at the end of the semester they have to take its exam.

Importance of the subject

The subject was introduced to teach the students to keep up their moral values when they step into a career. This paper is of prime importance in light of the evil way in which the world is progressing.

Pattern of the questions

The paper consists of three sections. Section A consists of multiple choice questions, B consists of short answer type questions and C consists of long answer type questions. All the sections are to be answered. The candidates do not need to answer all the questions in a section. They need to answer according to the instructions in the paper.

Correction scheme and duration

The maximum mark that a candidate can obtain for the exam is 70. 10 marks is contributed by section A, B contributes 15 and the rest is from section C. The candidates are allotted 3 hours for answering the paper.
