Tagore P.G. College came into existence in the year 2004 and the college is offering education science, arts, business administration and computer application faculties with affiliation from Maharaja Ganga Singh University located in the city of Bikaner in Rajasthan.

Eligibility for seeking admission to the aforesaid courses:

For professional courses (BBA, BCA, B. Sc Biotechnology): Candidates must have completed their 10+2 in science stream in any of the stream from a recognized board of education with not less than 50% for general category, 45% for OBC/ST and SC candidates respectively.

For Regular Courses: For B. Sc (medical/non-medical) candidates must have completed their 10+2 in science stream with maths/biology, physics and chemistry subjects from a recognized board of education. For Bachelor of Arts course, candidates must have completed their 10+2 in any stream of education from a recognized board of education.

Admission process:

Candidates will be admitted to the aforesaid courses based on the satisfaction of eligibility requirement and based on their performance in the interview that will be conducted by the college.

Campus of the college:

The campus of Tagore P.G. College is spread over a sprawling campus of over 18000 square feet with a constructed area of over 12000 square feet. The campus includes modern amenities, computer lab, library, teaching block with 30 rooms and administrative block. The multipurpose hall at the college has the facility to accommodate 500 people at a time and it is used for conducting debate and seminars for the sake of students.

Lab facilities at the college:

The campus of Tagore P.G. College is provided with well-equipped laboratory facilities for offering practical training to the students in subjects like biotechnology, botany, zoology, chemistry and physics. In addition, a well-equipped computer lab is available for the BCA students and there are also home science and geography labs at the college.
