Sipna’s College of Engineering & Technology came into existence in the year 1999 on the month of July and the college was established with the objective of offering qualitative professional education to the students belonging to the region of Amravati. The college was established by the Sipna Shikshan Prasarak Mandal and it is affiliated to the Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University.

Intake capacity of the college:

Sipna’s College of Engineering & Technology is approved with an intake capacity of 30 students for the B.E instrumentation engineering course, 60 students to the Computer Science & Engineering course offered under lateral entry scheme, 90 students to the B.E information technology course and 120 students each for the Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & telecommunication engineering course.

As far as PG courses are concerned, for all the M.E courses the college is permitted to admit 18 students per year for each branch. For MBA course, the intake capacity of the college is 60 students per year.

Eligibility Criteria:

UG Courses: For seeking admission to the different branches of B. E course, candidates must have completed their Higher Secondary with not less than 50% of marks (45% for reserved category) and they should also get through the MHT-CET examination. In the case of candidates belonging to other states, they must have completed their AIEEE examination or MHT-CET examination.

Training & placement Cell:

Sipna’s College of Engineering & Technology has a T & P Cell that functions with the objective of acquainting its students with industries. Some of the top companies like Geometric Software Solutions Private Limited, I-Flex, Patni Computer, MBT, etc… conducted campus interview in the college and selected more than 100 students for their respective organizations.

The campus of the college is equipped with several facilities like co-operative store, ISTE chapter, central library, indoor sports centre and canteen for the sake of staff members and students.
