University of Kota, also called as Kota University came into existence in the year 2003 and it is a public university in the state of Rajasthan. The university offers education in the faculties of social science, science, law, education, commerce & management and arts. The university has departments like social science, pure & applied sciences, pure & applied chemistry, computer science & informatics and commerce and management under its jurisdiction. The university has nearly 150 colleges under its jurisdiction, which includes both government and private colleges.
