Rajasthan High Court (Jodhpur) came into existence under the Government of India in the year 1949. The initial strength of Rajasthan High Court was of only 6 judges. The court is authorized by Constitution of India. Mr. Arun Kumar Mishra is the present Chief Justice of the court. The court was formed under the Rajasthan High Court Ordinance, 1949. The seat of the court is at Jodhpur only. The present snctioned judge strength of the court is 40. The court was actually inaugurated by the Rajpramukh, Maharaja Sawai Man Singh.

Job Profile:

Rajasthan High Court is inviting applications from Advocates for filling up the following positions in cadre of District Judge. Recruitment of candidates will be made on direct basis in the Rajasthan Judicial Service. Number of vacancies may be increased or decreased by Rajasthan High Court as per their requirements.

Eligibility:

Candidates must have attained the age of atleast 35 years. Also the age of candidates should not have exceeded 45 years as on 1 January 2012. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC/Women categories. Age relaxation will also be admissible to the other reserved categories as per the rules of Government of India.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates are required to have done Graduation in Law with atleast 7 years of experience in the relevant field. All interested candidates are required to follow this educational qualification criteria or else their applications will not be considered by the court.

No. of posts: Total 39 posts are available.

General category candidates: Only 21 posts are available.
SC category candidates: Only 6 posts are available.
ST category candidates: Only 4 posts are available.
OBC category candidates: Only 8 posts are available.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be given the consolidated salary of Rs. 51550-63070 per month.

Application Fee:

Rs. 500 is the amount of application fee that is need to be submitted by General category candidates. Rs. 100 is the amount of application fee for SC/ST/PWD candidates. OBC category candidates are required to submit an application fee of Rs. 250 only. Submission of this application fee must be done through the means of a Bank demand Draft drawn in favour of Registrar General, Rajasthan High Court, Jodhpur payable at SBI Jodhpur.

Selection Process:

The final selection of candidates will be made only on the basis of the personal interview test only.
