Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University was established in the year 1998 as a public professional university. The university is basically a teaching cm affiliating university with one constitutional college- Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology. The university is located at Dwarka and has an urban campus of 60 acres. The university was formerly known as Indraprastha University. Mr. Tejandra Khanna is the Chancellor of the university while Dr. D. K. Bandyopathyay is the vice chancellor. There are total 60 thousand (approx) students studying in the university.
