PMMM Hospital has been designated as a district hospital. The main objective of this hospital is to provide the basic health care facilities free of cost. This hospital is also a cancer detection centre for south district and is upgrading to 100 bedded hospitals.

Job profile: The residents will be responsible for taking care of the patients and treat them. They will also be responsible for preparing medical reports and assist their seniors. They will be learning a lot of things during this period.

Eligibility: A candidate must not exceed the age of 35 years in case of senior residents and 30 years in case of junior residents. However, relaxation can be claimed as per the rules.

Educational Qualifications: For senior residents – A candidate must be a post graduate from a recognized university and must be registered with MCI. For junior residents – A candidate must be an MBBS from a recognized university and must have completed the internship.

No. of vacancies: There are 54 vacancies in total for senior/ junior residents including the vacancies for reserved categories.

Pay scale: The senior residents will be given a pay scale of Rs15600-39100 plus a grade pay of Rs6600 and the junior residents will be given a pay scale of Rs15600-39100 plus a grade pay of Rs5400. Other allowances will be given as per the rules.

Selection process: the candidates will have to appear for an interview which will be held at the office of the Medical Superintendent. The selection will be on the basis of their qualifications.
