The Bihar Entrance Competitive Examination (Medical) is conducted by the Bihar Government as per the Bihar Entrance Competitive Examination Act 1995. This examination board conducts BCECE exam to enable the students to get admitted into graduate level courses in Medical stream. After the successful completion of such a course, the candidate becomes a bachelor degree holder. The BCECE board also conducts Post Graduate Medical Admission Test (PGMAT) for those who aspire to join Post Graduate Medical Courses in Medical colleges of Bihar.

Structure of BCECE Medical

The candidate’s under graduate level papers influence the choice of subjects/papers which a candidate has to undergo for the BCECE examination. The Medical program of BCECE offers a wide range of courses. The particular Examination has two parts of objective type. The first part of the examination is held on one day, while the second part of the examination will be conducted on any one of the nearest dates.

Eligibility Criteria for BCECE Medical

Candidates those who wish to apply for the Medical stream should complete 17 years of age as on December 31^st 2011. Candidates who have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the undergraduate level subjects are eligible to apply.

Study Plan

• Be Realistic: Studying is an intense activity which requires a lot of energy and concentration. As you can’t focus on continuously, set the portions within the limit.
• Fix a place to study: The study environment influence you a lot. Therefore choose a place that is not likely to be interrupted by noise, music or family members.
• Find the best time of the day: Some people are able to give their best in the mornings. If you are one among them then wake up a little early as you can utilize your best time effectively.
• Mix Things Up: Avoid concentrating on one subject for a long time as it is easy to get bored. So mix different subjects so that you won’t lack concentration.
• Formulate points while you study
• Recollect what you have studied for the past half an hour on a paper
• Watch videos on the related topic
• Draw the pictures and diagrams as it helps you to remember
• It should be flexible: Sometimes we find it difficult to stick on to the plan. If you are allotting some space in between the time table, you can make use of that when you are running in short of time.
• Track the Progress: Keep in mind that it is easy to stick on to a plan that seems to be working. Make constant improvements by taking a quiz on certain subjects or preparing an article on a particular topic.

Points to remember:

• Think small at first and create an action plan to achieve your aims.
• Think about what you will study.
• Work out how much time will be given to studying.
• Plan when exactly you will do this study.
• Write down simple tasks.
• Set a target time frame to have each task completed.
• Have a list of clearly defined, written goals for each week.
• Set a small number of goals for the first few weeks. Then decide how you will achieve these goals.
• Always aim higher than you can think. You will amaze yourself at how well you can do.
• Once you have your goals agreed, you will find yourself more motivated and you will work harder to reach them.
