Registrar, Assistant, Stenographer Grade-D - National Green Tribunal, New Delhi
National Green Tribunal is mandated to endeavor for disposal of appeals or applications within six months of filing the same. The main office of the tribunal is located in New Delhi, while branches are located at four cities namely Chennai, Kolkata, Pune and Bhopal.
Recruitment by National Green Tribunal:
National Green Tribunal has called for applications from eligible Indian citizens in prescribed format for the positions of Stenographer Grade D, Assistant and Registrar to be filled up at its zonal benches in Kolkata, Pune, Chennai and Bhopal and for its Principal Bench at New Delhi.
Name of the positions: Registrar, Stenographer Grade D, Assistant
Number of Vacancies: Total 25 vacancies are divided between the two positions as follows:
• Registrar – 01 (for Principal Bench at New Delhi)
• Stenographer Grade D – 12 (two posts each for zonal offices at Kolkata, Pune, Chennai and Bhopal and four posts for Principal Bench at New Delhi)
• Assistant – 12 (two posts each for zonal offices at Kolkata, Pune, Chennai and Bhopal and four posts for Principal Bench at New Delhi)
Pay scale: Pay scales for the positions are:
• Registrar – PB-4 with Rs.37400-67000 & GP of Rs.8700
• Stenographer Grade D – PB-1 with Rs.5200-20200 & GP of Rs.2400
• Assistant – PB-2 with Rs.9300-34800 & GP of Rs.4200
Educational Qualification & Experience:
Registrar: The position of Assistant registrar is going to be filled on deputation basis and candidates must be officers with a degree in law from a recognized university and they must be holding analogous position on regular basis in the tribunals/courts or state/central government or they must be in a position in central/state government organization or tribunals/courts with five years of regular service in the pay brand of PB-3 (Rs.15600-39100+GP of Rs.7600) or they must be in a position in central/state government organization or tribunals/courts with eleven years of regular service in the pay brand of PB-3 (Rs.15600-39100+GP of Rs.6600)
Stenographer Grade D: 100% of the position is going to be filled on direct recruitment, failing which it might be on deputation basis. In the case of direct recruitment, candidates must be degree holders in any field with not less than 55% of marks and they should possess 80 wpm speed in English shorthand with a transcription speed of 65 mts in English and 75 mts in Hindi on manual typewriter and 50 mts in English and 65 mts in Hindi on computer. For deputation basis recruitment, candidates must be graduates from a recognized university holding analogous position on regular basis on tribunals/courts/central government. It is essential that candidates must have undergone computer training course of at least 6 months duration from a recognized institution for both direct recruitment and deputation basis.
Assistant: 100% of the position is going to be filled on direct recruitment, failing which it might be on deputation basis. In the case of direct recruitment, candidates must be degree holders in the field of law with not less than 55% of marks. Preference will be given to candidates with environmental sciences/studies as one of the subjects or candidates with two years working experience in the field of environment. For deputation basis recruitment, candidates must be graduates from a recognized university holding analogous position on regular basis on tribunals/courts/central government. It is essential that candidates must have undergone computer training course of at least 6 months duration from a recognized institution for both direct recruitment and deputation basis.
