Tonk District is located in the western part of India in the state of Rajasthan and the district has the city of Tonk as its administrative headquarters. Government PG College, Tonk began its educational journey as Government College for offering UG courses and it came into existence in the year 1952. Initially, the college was offering arts course alone and in the year 1957, commerce course was introduced and later in the year 1966 science courses were also introduced. The college is presently offering 19 courses at the UG level and 10 courses at the PG level in arts, science and commerce stream of education. The college is affiliated to the Maharishi Dayanand Sarawati University and it is functioning with the approval of the University Grants Commission.

Government College, Malpura:

Government College, Malpura is located in the district of Tonk and the college came into existence in the year 1997. The college is approved by the University Grants Commission under section 2 (f) and 12 (B). The college offers Bachelor of Arts course with an intake capacity of 572 students and with affiliation from the Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati University located in Ajmer.

Government College, Deoli:

This college came into existence in the year 1977 with approval from the University Grants Commission under section 2 (f) and 12 (b). The college is affiliated to the Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati University and it offers UG courses in arts, science and commerce stream of education. Admission of students to this college is done based on the merit secured by the students in the higher secondary examination from the State  Board of Rajasthan or from any other approved board.
