Physics is the branch of science which deals with the understanding of the nature and the various universal laws that govern the various phenomenon of taking place in it. Physics is the basis of all the branches of Engineering be it Electrical or Mechanical or Civil.

Why this paper is important?

The subject is a scoring one and is applicable in every field. Electrical, Electronics and telecommunication are the major section of physics. Physics has very advantageous applications in almost all the branches of engineering and it is also applied in mathematics. In fact today’s world of explorations and research is purely based on physics.

General Pattern followed by the Board

The paper carries a total of 40 marks; it is divided in to 5 questions. The first question has eight multiple choice questions with 4 options and students have to write the correct answer. Each question carries 1 mark. Question 2, 3 and 4 has one numerical and some other questions. Question 5 has 3 numerical questions of 4 marks each and 2 have to be answered.
