Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) was established on August 15, 1969 under the Government of India. The major objective behind the establishment of the organisation was to have the leading space research organizations in the world under the Government of India. The headquarter of the organisation is located in the state of Bangalore. Mr. K. Radhakrishnan is the chairman as well as the administrator of the organisation. The major objective of the organisation is to develop the space technology. Indian Space Research Organisation, launched its first satellite named Aryabhatta in the year 1975.

Job Profile:

Eligible and qualified candidates are invited to apply in the prescribed format for filling up the vacant positions of Technical Assistant and Technician in Indian Space Research Organiation. The posts are available in various disciplines. The posts of Technical Assistant are available in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Civil Engineering, Air Conditioning, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering. Vacancies of Technciain are available in the disciplines of Electronic Mechanic, Fitter, Welder, Photographer, Carpenter and Plumber.

Eligibility:

Interested candidates should fulfill all the eligibility conditions set for their desired positions for applying in Indian Space Research Organiation. The age criteria is strictly need to be followed by those candidates who are interested in apply for any of the above two specified posts i.e. Technical Assistant and Technician.

Educational Qualification:

Technical Assistant: Candidates must possess Diploma in the concerned discipline of Engineering from a recognized board or university. Also, candidates should have secured minimum 60% marks in aggregate at the Diploma for being eligible for the specified post.

Technician ‘B’: Candidates must have done atleast SSLC or SSC from a recognized board. Besides this, candidates should also have acquired National Trade Certificate or ITI or NAC in the concerned trade. All interested candidates must possess this prescribed educational qualification for being eligible for the post.

Technical Assistant: Only 22 posts are available.

Technician ‘B’: Only 14 posts are available.

(Electronic Mechanic-6, Fitter-4, Welder-1, Photographer-1, Carpenter-1 and Plumber-1)

Pay Scale:

Technical Assistant: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4600.
Technician ‘B’: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2000.
