Bhageshwar District is located in the Northern part of the nation in the state of Uttarakhand and the headquarters of the district is the town of Bhageshwar. The district is located in the eastern part of Kumaon region of the state of Uttarakhand and the district is bounded on the south by the Almora District, on the east and northeastern by Pithoragarh District, on the northwest and western part by the Chamoli District.
