University of Kashmir came in to existence soon after independence in 1948. The University is located on the banks of Dal Lake and is spread over 263 acres of land. The university offers numerous courses in the field of Arts, Social Science, Commerce and Management, Education, Law, Biological Science, Physical and Material Sciences, and Applied Sciences and Technology. The University offers M.A in Islamic studies which is a post graduation course under Faculty of Social Science through entrance exam.
Structure of University of Kashmir M.A in Islamic Studies Entrance Test
The pattern of the University of Kashmir M.A. in Islamic Studies Entrance Test is such that objective type questions are asked. The candidate is required to mark the correct option from the given four options. The structure of the questions will be as follows.

Eligibility Criteria
The University reserves 50% of seats in M.A in Islamic Studies to the students who have passed B.A. with Islamic Studies as one of the subjects in the qualifying degree. Rest 50% seats are filled by candidates who have completed graduation in any stream. The eligibility for the entrance exam is to complete graduation in any stream.
How to Apply?
The candidates can obtain the prospectus of M.A. in Islamic Studies Entrance Exam from the sale counter of the University. The cost of the prospectus will be Rs. 240/-. There will be serial number in each prospectus. This serial number is used to obtain the online application forms. The application forms are to be submitted online.
How to fill the Form?
The candidate should first log on to the official website of the University. All the information required to fill in the application form are available in the website. All the entries should be filled carefully. The candidate should not leave any mandatory column vacant. The candidate should upload the photograph in the space specified. The candidates should do a final check before submitting the form.
