The Delhi Development Authority shortly called as DDA was established in the year 1957 under the provisions of the Delhi Development Authority Act for promotion and securing the development of Delhi. DDA has played a crucial role in the development of Delhi and it became the focus of government of Delhi when the national capital was shifted from the city of Kolkata to Delhi by the British government in India.

Delhi Development Authority has called for applications from eligible candidates for the position of Stenographer (Hindi) Grade D and here are the details regarding the notification issued by the authority in this regard:

Name of the Vacancy: Stenographer (Hindi) Grade D

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 37, which is divided among the different category as follows:

• UR – 19

• SC – 05

• OBC – 13

Reservation for PH candidates will be according to the rules of Government of India.

Pay scale: Candidates selected for the position of Stenographer (Hindi) Grade D in Delhi Development Authority, will be coming under the pay scale of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2400.

Eligibility requirements:

Education: Candidates must have completed their higher secondary from a recognized university or board and they must also have a speed of 80 words per minute in Hindi Shorthand and 35 words per minute on Hindi typewriting only on computer. Desirable qualification is basic knowledge of computer operations and diploma in office management & secretarial practice from a recognized institution.

Age: Minimum age requirement is 18 years and maximum age requirement is 27 years, however age relaxation will be applicable for reserved category candidates as per government rules.

Mode of Selection:

Selection of candidates will be on the basis of written test.

Examination fee:

Examination fee of Rs.100 had to be paid by general and OBC candidates in the form of DD drawn in favor of Delhi Development Authority payable at New Delhi.
