Institute of Banking Personnel Selection was established as an autonomous body under the Government of India. The institute is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The institute is also registered as a Public Trust under the Bombay Public Trust Atc, 1950. Initially, the institute started off as an apex institute. The main idea behind the establishment of the institute was for employment testing, training and research related to selection and management of human resources. The institute is located at Mumbai Suburban District.

Job Profile:

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is making recruitment of eligible Indian Nationals on the following vacant posts of Research Assosciate, Assistants, Junior Librarian and Security and Vigilance Officer. Candidates are requested to apply through online mode only as applications made through any other means or mode will not be accepted by the institute under any circumstances.

1. Recruitment of Research Associate:
Educational Qualification: Post Graduation in Psychology or Education or Statistics from a recognized university. Minimum 55% marks are need to be secured by the candidates in Post Graduation degree.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 28660 per month.

2. Recruitment of Assistants:
Age Limit: Candidates should have age in between 21 to 30 years as on 1 February 2012.
Educational Qualification: Graduation degree from a recognized university with minimum six months experience in relevant field.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 10900 per month.

3. Recruitment of Junior Librarian:
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Library Science or Information Science or Documentation Science or equivalent from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks in aggregate.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 27908 per month.

4. Recruitment of Security and Vigilance Officer:
Educational Qualification: Candidates should be a retired defence or police personnel who served as a Commissioned Officer for minimum 3 years in Army or Airforce or Navy.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 54218 per month.

Interested candidates are not required to pay any kind of application fee for applying for the above mentioned posts in Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.

Selection Process:

Selection of eligible candidates will be made through the conduct of Written Examination (in necessary) followed by a Personal Interview Test with the Selection Committee. However, the final decision on the selections of best suitable candidates will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the personal interview test.
