Delhi State Cancer Institute is an independent institution which comes under the control of Government of NCT of Delhi. The institute was initially established as an autonomous institute with the aim of providing comprehensive management facilities for the patients suffering from cancers. The institute is considered as one of the best cancer institute present in the country. The institute gets the support of Government of NCT of Delhi. The consistent growth of this institute has been supported by the administrative machinery of the Government of NCT of Delhi.

Job Profile:

Candidates are invited to apply for the following vacant posts of Senior Residents in Delhi State Cancer Institute. The posts of Senior Residents are availbale in the disciplines of Clinical Oncology (Radiotherapy) and Radio Diagnosis. Candidates must be citizens of India and should ensure their eligibility in advance before applying for specified position in Delhi State Cancer Institute.

Eligibility:

Interested candidates must strictly follow the eligibility conditions set for the posts of Senior Residents in Delhi State Cancer Institute or else they would not be considered eligible for the specified position. Candidates are required to have age more than the prescribed minimum age limit but not more than the prescribed maximum age limit. However, there may be relaxation in the upper age limit provided to the reserved categories candidates as per the rules of Government of India.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must also possess the prescribed minimum educational qualification for being eligible for applying for the posts of Senior Residents in Delhi State Cancer Institute. The minimum educational qualification required for the post is MD degree. The degree should be done in the disiplines of Radiology or Radio Diagnosis only. Candidates having qualification less than the prescribed one, will not be considered eligible for the post.

Senior Residents in Clinical Oncology (Radiotherapy): Only 8 posts are available.
(General-2, OBC-3, SC-2 and ST-1)

Senior Residents in Radio Diagnosis: Only 4 posts are available.
(General-1, OBC-2 and SC-1)

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be provided the prescribed amount of salary i.e. Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.

No application fee is need to be paid by the candidates for applying for the posts of Senior Residents in Delhi State Cancer Institute.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be recruited or selected on the basis of their performance in the Walk-In-Interview that will be held on 10 March 2012.

How to apply: Eligible candidates should arrive on time for the Walk-In-Interview that will be held on 10 March 2012 from 11 AM onwards. Candidates should reach on time for the Walk-In-Interview or else they would not be allowed to appear in the test.
