Interior Design courses and admission procedure
Candidates who are keen to pursue interior design courses can find undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and certificate courses. Undergraduate courses include B.Des, B.Sc, B.Arch and B.A courses while postgraduate courses include MBA and M.Sc courses. Diploma in Interior Design, Advanced Diploma in Interior Design and Post Graduate Diploma in Interior Design and Decoration are some of the diploma courses. It is possible to go for certificate courses in interior design as well as interior design and decoration. Admission to interior design courses will be based on the aggregate score obtained in qualifying examination and entrance tests like Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET), India Entrance Examination for Design (AIEED) etc.

Admission procedure for various interior design courses
Admission to B.Des course will be based on the marks obtained in the senior secondary examination or entrance test conducted by the relevant institution. In the case of SRM University, admission will be given to those candidates who get short listed according to their marks obtained in higher secondary examination. Symbiosis International University conducts Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) for giving admission to deserving candidates.
For getting admission to B.Arch course, one should obtain adequate score in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). Also, they have to qualify the relevant entrance test specified by the institution to which they are seeking admission. Admission to other undergraduate courses like B.A and B.Sc will be based on the marks in qualifying examination or entrance test.
If the candidates want to get admission into MBA course, then they should qualify either common entrance tests like CAT, XAT etc. or the entrance test conducted by the relevant institution. Those who seek admission to M.Sc course should possess adequate marks in their qualifying examination as the admission will be based on that score and the entrance test conducted by the concerned institution. Certain institutions like Arch Academy of Design give admission according to the score obtained in All India Entrance Examination for Design (AIEED), situation test and interview.
After completing 10th or 12th, candidates can directly join diploma courses in interior design. Certain institutions like National Institute of Design (NID) conducts entrance test for the intake of eligible candidates to these diploma courses. Those who have passed diploma courses can directly join advanced diploma courses in interior design. Graduates in design can pursue Post Graduate Diploma or Graduate Diploma courses. Entrance test is there for getting admission to these postgraduate courses. It is possible to join certificate courses in interior design right after completing senior secondary course. Candidates can get admission according to the availability of seats in the concerned institution.

hi im appeared for class 12 cbse board exams this year. Now im confused which career to choose. I like sketching and doing and art and creative work..and wanto go for designing - interior design. But im not sure if i hava that level of creativity and aptitude for it. Please reply
