Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Trauma and Orthopedics conducts an admission process for admission to its Post Graduate Training for Diplomate of the National Board (DNB) in Orthopedics. DNB qualification is equivalent to postgraduate degree and post doctoral level qualifications of universities as notified by Government of India, Ministry of Health and family welfare. Candidates have to appear for CET conducted by NBE (National Board of Examination) to apply for 3 year DNB course in orthopedics at SGITO.

Candidates have to appear for CET conducted by NBE (National Board of Examination) to apply for 3 year DNB course in orthopedics at SGITO. For those who have passed PG Ortho exams the duration of the programme will be 2 years. SGITO is an autonomous institute established by Government of Karnataka Act. The institute is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. The institute is recognized by Indian Nursing Council and Karnataka State Nursing Council for providing the courses.

Eligibility Criteria:

Those who have done PG in Ortho can apply for 2 year DNB course.

How to Apply:

The application form will be directly available from the institute and can also be obtained by post by sending a request for the form along with a demand draft and a self addressed envelope. Candidates should write the requisite letter in their own handwriting and should provide the registration numbers as well as a specimen of their signature at the back side of DD. Candidates are strictly advised to use a black or blue ball pen and avoid fountain pens in order to write the letter.
