Krishna Engineering College (KEC) is one of the new engineering colleges which was started in the year 2004. The college is affiliated to Mahamaya Technical University and offers B.Tech courses in streams of Electronics & Communication, Mechanical Engineering, etc. Other than this, the college offers PG level courses like M.Tech and MCA. Admission to B.Tech and MCA programs are offered on the basis of MTU SEE/UPSEE. Admission to M.Tech courses is done on the basis of candidate’s performance in GATE.

Admission Procedure in Krishna Engineering College
Candidates having completed XII class studies with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics can apply for under graduate courses. Selection of eligible candidates to the course is done either on the basis of national level entrance test or state level entrance exam. Last year admission was done on the basis of AIEEE/MTU SEE. Going forth, AIEEE shall be replaced by ISEET. MTU SEE is a state level test and includes 150 questions for 600 marks. Questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in equal proportion.
Bachelor degree holders having pursued mathematics as a subject can apply for MCA program. Other graduates who have studied mathematics at XII class are also eligible for admission. Admission to the course is offered on the basis of UPSEE for MCA. The test covers aptitude questions from mathematics, statistics and logical ability. There will be 100 questions for the test each carrying 4 marks. There will be no negative marking for the test.
Engineering graduates can seek admission to M.Tech courses in the respective stream. Admission will be offered to candidates having valid score in GATE exam.
Applications for admission can be collected from the website of KEC. In the application form, candidate should enter their role number in entrance exam, marks obtained, educational, qualifications, etc. Filled up applications must be submitted to the college before last date. Selected candidates can pursue MCA/B.Tech programs by paying fee amount of Rs. 82,800 /- per year. Total fee for M.Tech program is Rs. 60,000/- per year.
