PG Diploma courses like Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology, and Post Graduate Diploma in International Business are offered by Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning (SCDL). These courses are much beneficial for graduates who are interested in improving their present career prospects. Admission to the course is offered on first come first serve basis.

Other courses offered are

Students can join only one of the above mentioned courses at a time. If students opt for more than one course in the same academic year, then the first one will be allotted by default. Those who fail to opt specialisation for PGDBA progrm, then marketing will be allotted as default. Those who are interested in having an additional specialization should send an application request (using the application form available in the SCDL website).

Eligibility Criteria to join PG Diploma courses in SCDL

Graduation is the basic eligibility for admission to PG diploma courses in SCDL. Students must have a degree certificate from a recognized institute.

Application Procedure for PG Diploma courses in SCDL

First step in application process is to collect the prospectus. Fee for this prospectus cum application booklet is Rs. 1100/-. This can be purchased through any of the following methods.

• From any of the information centres of SCDL
• From specified branches of Axis Bank and HDFC Bank

Second step is to fill up and submit the application form along with certain documents like

• Two passport size photographs
• Copies of degree certificate/provisional certificate attested by a gazetted officer
• Name Change Document (if applicable) &
• Demand Draft for Registration fee

Registration fee amount is Rs. 1000/-. This must be paid in the form of Demand Draft taken in favor the Director of Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning.

Filled up applications along with the above mentioned documents can be submitted directly at Main Campus of SCDL at Pune, Maharashtra. Another option is to submit through postal method. Received applications are scrutinized to check whether the candidate possess the mentioned eligibility conditions. Eligible candidates will be sent an admission letter, ID card, welcome kit etc.
