Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology offers under graduate, post graduate and doctoral level programmes in Information and Communication Technology. Eligibility Criterion for courses in Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology

Candidates who have passed higher secondary/ H.S.C. Vocational Examination with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry or Computer Science from a recognized board of studies are eligible to apply for Bachelor of Technology in Information and Communication Technology. Apart from this, candidates who have completed Three or four-year diploma programme, recognized by AICTE or by State Board of Technical Education are also eligible to apply. Candidates should have completed 17 years of age.

Candidates seeking admission to M.Tech programmes are required to have B.Tech/ B E degree in any of the following subjects

  • Computer Science
  • Electronics and Communication
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Electronics and Instrumentation
  • Information Technology

Apart from this, candidates who have completed post graduation in Computer Science, Computer Application, Physics, Electronics, Statistics or Mathematics can also apply. Final year candidates who are awaiting results are also eligible. Candidates need to have a minimum of 60 % marks in aggregate in qualifying examination so as to be eligible for applying to M.Tech course.

Those who have completed under graduation in commerce, science, arts or management subjects are eligible to apply for Master of Science in Information Technology. Candidates who have completed M.Tech/ M E/ MCA/ B.Tech in Information and Communication Technology related areas are eligible to apply for PhD programmes.

Admission Procedure

Admission to B.Tech Programme is based on the score obtained in AIEEE. The institute considers national level entrance exams such as GATE for the admission to Post graduate programmes. Admission to Master of Science in Information Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance test conducted by the Institute. Final selection to all the courses is based on the merit rank in entrance exam and performance in the interview.
