Eligibility and Admission Procedure for MCA in VIT

Graduates from any of the recognized University, with a minimum of 60% marks can apply for MCA in Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT). Selection of eligible candidates will be done on the basis of VIT Masters Entrance Exam (VITMEE). Questions will be asked from sections like English language, Mathematics and Computer Awareness.

Eligibility Criteria for MCA in VIT

Degree qualified candidates are eligible to apply for MCA in VIT. Such candidate must be a resident Indian national who have obtained the required qualification from any of the recognized institutes located in India. Degree qualification must be obtained as a full time degree with a minimum of 60% marks. Consistent marks in class X and XII is also required. Graduation must be obtained with mathematics as a subject either at 12th or graduation. Final year/semester satisfying the required qualifications is also eligible to apply. But such candidates must produce final year mark certificate and provisional certificate at the time of interview.

Admission Procedure for MCA in VIT

For selecting suitable candidates for admission, VIT usually conducts an entrance test called VIT Masters Entrance Exam (VITMEE). VITMEE is conducted as a computer based test containing a total of 110 questions. Maximum marks for this objective model written test is 100. Candidate needs to complete the test within 2 hours. Questions will be asked from the following topics.
