Admission to M.Sc courses in IIT are carried out on the basis of Joint Admission Test (JAM). A minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying exam is the basic qualification required. SC/ST candidates need to have a minimum of 50% marks only. There will be objective and descriptive model questions for the entrance test. Those who can score well with JAM can seek admission through centralized counseling process.
