Library

SSN College of Engineering has a Central library which generally provides a separate learning space for students. The library can be accessed by students from 8 am to 8.30 pm on all working days. The college library stocks 46,000 volumes of books. This also includes an arrangement of 206 national journals, 114 international journals, and 110 NPTEL video lectures. Towards the beginning of each semester the library stocks around 1200 additional reference books related to different subject streams. A central air-condition facility is equipped inside the library and it also includes a book bank section of 712 volumes to meet the varied needs of students. 

Cafeteria

The college offers canteen facilities to all students and staff members by serving hygienic food at a mere subsidized rate.

Hostel

The hostel facilities are organized for both student groups. The hostel rooms of students are quite spaciously arranged along with required storage and moving area. There are separate dining halls, kitchen, reading rooms, TV and Telephone rooms (inside both the hostels). The Wi Fi facility is far extended to the hostels. In certain rooms, wired connections are allotted based upon student request.

Sports Facility

The college provides both indoor and outdoor sports facilities for students. The indoor facilities include – badminton, table tennis, chess, squash, and fitness center (both girls and boys). The out-door sports facility includes cricket, foot ball, basket ball, volley ball, track and field.

Transport Facility

The college offers bus services to solve the daily commuting problems of the students. Around 42 buses operate for the students and staff which normally connect every part of city towards the college campus.

Wi Fi Facility

The college gives in Wi Fi facility to the students within the college campuses and hostels. This facility helps students to get access to any e learning material at any time from any part of the college campus.

Health Care

A health dispensary functions in the campus with the service of a full time doctor in the campus.

Auditorium and Seminar Halls

The college holds a centrally air conditioned auditorium with a total seating capacity of 1000. This auditorium includes all modern facilities like multimedia projector, sound systems etc with large lobbies. There is also another Mini auditorium to hold seminars, meetings and other training activities with a total seating capacity of 300.

Counseling Centre

The college includes a separate counseling centre with the service of an experienced counseling consultant. The counseling consultant counsels and guides students on career oriented problems or depressions.
