Admission Procedure in JBIMS
Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management (JBIMS), Mumbai offers part - time and full –time courses in different disciplines. Master in Management Studies (MMS) is the specific full –time course offered in JBIMS. Some of the part- time courses offered in JBIMS are - Masters in Financial Management (MFM), Masters in Information Management (MIM), and Master in Marketing Management (MMM). The eligibility criteria for part - time and full – time courses will differ. Selection process will comprise of – Common entrance test, GD and Personal Interview.

Admission Procedure in JBIMS
The admission procedure for both part time and full time courses in JBIMS will vary as per the specific course chosen for study by candidates which is listed below –
Full Time Course
Graduates in any discipline (from any recognized institutes) can apply for Master of Management Studies (MMS –full time course). A minimum of 50% marks in graduate level is necessary to apply for the same. Even those, final year graduates can also apply for full time MMS course, provided they must satisfy the eligibility conditions.
A centralized admission procedure (CAP) is organized by The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), for admission to MMS course in JBIMS. It is compulsory for candidates to qualify CAT, CMAT or any other entrance examination approved by DTE and attain a valid score in the same. The selection process will essentially begin with evaluation of candidate’s score in the common entrance examination. Short listing of candidates for Group Discussion will be done on the basis on common entrance exam score. Those candidates who clear GD need to attend Personal Interview as well.
Part Time courses
A full time graduate degree in any subject from an institute recognized by Association of Indian Universities is essential to apply for any of the above mentioned part –time management courses. Apart from this, those candidates who have passed a graduate examination in Industrial Engineering, Mumbai with a valid GATE score are also eligible. For this, it is compulsory to have at least 2 years of full time job experience (in any supervisory or executive level post) in any reputed organizations (excluding projects or internships). The selection criteria will depend on academic record of the candidate, practical job experience, and the performance in the specific selection program organized by the institute.
As part of the selection process, candidates need to first attend MH-CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) and obtain a good score in it. Those candidates having obtained the specified cut off score in MH-CET will be chosen for Group Discussion. Personal Interview which is the last step of selection is carried out for GD qualified candidates.
