Junior Engineer (Civil) - Border Roads Organization (BRO)
Border Roads Organization (BRO) is an unarmed force integral to the Armed Forces with men in uniform, both from the Army and the General Reserve Engineer Force (GREF). The BRO supports the Armed Forces in maintaining the vast road communication network during war times.
BRO plays a vital role in nation building and national integration by involving not only in constructing roads, but also involving in other construction activities such as airfields, building projects and permanent bridge construction.
Job Profile:
Border Roads Organization (BRO) invites application from eligible Male Indian citizens for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil in its General Reserve Engineer Force (GREF).

Pay Scale – Rs. 9300 - Rs. 34800 + Grade pay of Rs. 4200
Eligibility:
Age criteria – The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 27 years (Relaxable as per rules).
Educational qualification – The candidates must have done 3 years Diploma or Licentiateship in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from any recognized Institution or must have done Diploma in Civil Engineering from Military Engineering College.
Selection Process:
The selection depends on the performance in the Trade test.

Eligible candidates must download the application form from the BRO’s website link http://www.bro.nic.in/newsdetails.asp?newsid=95. Completely filled application must be sent along with required enclosures to the following address:

Application fees:
Application fee of Rs. 50 (For OBC candidates) and Rs. 25 (For Sc/ ST/ Ex-Servicemen) must be directly deposited in favor of Commandant, GREF Centre, Pune - 411 015 in Public Account No. 11182905409 of State Bank of India, Khadi Branch, Pune Code No. 01629. The application fee can be paid through crossed bank draft in case where core banking system is not functional.
