Curator B/Assistant Executive Engineer, NCSM
Profile:
National Council of Science Museums (NCSM) was founded on April 4, 1978 under the Government of India. This is a society with the objective of collecting and retoring important historical objectsof the country. All the functions performed by this socity comes under Ministry of Culture.
Job profile:
Candidates can apply for the posts of Curator B and Assistant Executive Engineer depending on their educational qualification. Selected candidates will be sent to different sites in India.
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates are required to have Ist class Bachelar’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent for applying for the posts of Curator B while Ist class Bachelar’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent is required for applying for the posts of Assistant Executive Engineer.
No. of posts: Only 6 posts are available for the the position of Curator B and 2 for Assistant Executive Engineer.
Pay Scale: Candidates will be given prescribed salary.
Selection process:
Candidates will have to undergo a written examination. Candidate’s performance in the examination will play a major part in the final selection for the posts.
How to apply: Candidates are required to send the complete Application form alongwith attested copies of all certificates and a crossed postal order of Rs. 100/- drawn in favour of National Council of Science Museums payable at Kolkata to National Council of Science Museums, Sector-5, Block-GN, Bidhan Nagar, Kolkata-700091.
Last date for the reciept of Application is 8 January 2010.
