Amrita University is conducting an engineering entrance known as Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam B Tech (AEEE-B Tech) fro admitting candidates for the three colleges under the amrita university. These colleges are situated at kerala, Tamil nadu and Karnataka. These colleges offer courses in

Structure of AEEE-B Tech

The questions will be from physics chemistry and mathematics. Each section will be having 40 questions. Therefore a total of 120 questions will be asked. The exam duration is three hours. All the question carries three marks.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates with a pass certificate in the higher secondary examination are only eligible.
  • Candidates with a diploma certificate in the engineering field can also eligible for the entrance exam. Students with diploma certificate should have also scored more than 60% marks in their qualifying exam.
  • Candidates now studying in the 12th standard can also apply

How to Apply?

Forms are available from the amrita university by paying an amount of Rs 850.Payment can be done only through demand draft .The demand draft should be in favour of Amrita School of Engineering. Forms are also available from the selected P O’s and banks .candidate requesting form through mail will need to send  a request letter  to the admission coordinator along with the DD of Rs 850. Forms can be submitted through online means also. The link and instruction for submitting online application forms are available in the official website.

How to fill the Form?

Candidate can ask for the help of parents if they find it difficult to fill the form. They should not fill the form if they find anything they don’t know. Collect all the information regarding filling the application form from the website or from the information brochure. After that candidate can start filling the form.

Study all the subjects. Since there is no set pattern, need to cover all topics in quite depth. Still compiling old papers and practicing them could really help. Start preparing for the exam as earlier as possible. Give importance to mathematics and related topics. Candidate can write mock tests. Sample question papers are available.
