Andhra University is one of the oldest educational institutions in India. The university offers many undergraduate, diploma, doctoral, and postgraduate courses in various streams. The university also has distance education courses since 1972. It conducts entrance exam for M.Sc Electronics course.

Structure of Andhra University M.Sc. Electronics Entrance Test

Andhra University M.Sc Electronics Entrance Test consists of objective type questions only. The candidates have to answer 90 multiple choice questions which are spread over three sections – A, B, and C. Section A includes 40 questions, Section B has 30 questions, and Section C consists of 20 questions. Each question carries 1 mark. The duration of the test is 75 minutes. There will be a deduction of ¼ marks for each wrong answer.

Syllabus of Andhra University M.Sc. Electronics Entrance Test

The questions for the M.Sc. Electronics Entrance Test will be from the following subjects.

Part – A

  • Digital Electronics and Microprocessor
  • Embedded Systems and Applications
  • Digital Design Using VHDL

Part – B

  • Analog Circuits and Communications

Part – C

  • Circuit Analysis and Electronic Devices

Eligibility Criteria

To appear for the entrance exam, the aspirants have to complete B.Sc Electronics with Mathematics or any other subject as subsidiary. Also, candidates who have completed B.Sc. in Mathematics or any other subject with P.G Diploma in Electronics or P.G Diploma in instrumentation are also eligible for the entrance exam.

How to Apply?

The candidates can have the application form from various concerned centers by payment of Rs. 300/-. If the form has to be obtained through post, a request letter along with DD of Rs. 350/- has to be drawn in favour of The Director, AUCET, Directorate of Admissions payable at Visakhapatnam. The duly filled application form has to be sent to The Director, AUCET, Directorate of Admissions, Visakhapatnam.

How to fill the Form?

The candidates must be very careful in filling the application form. All the columns have to be neatly and legibly filled without making any mistakes. Also, the candidate must refer to the prospectus where all the necessary information is mentioned. The application form should reach the destination before the last date of submission.

The entrance exam for M.Sc Electronics is a highly competitive exam and needs hard work. The candidate must begin the preparation as early as possible.
