Annamalai University M.Sc. Botany, First Year: Microbiology, Plant pathology and Biological Techniques (Paper II) Papers
Annamalai University offers a master degree in Botany (M.Sc. in Botany) through distance education mode of learning. The course is of duration of two years. Microbiology, Plant pathology and Biological Techniques is one of the papers in the first year of the course. The subject is an important paper of the course. All the three topics in this subject are vital to the study of botany. The details of the exam are given in the following paragraphs.
The time allotted for the exam is three hours and the maximum marks are 100. The paper is divided in three sections. Section I has short answer type questions, eight in number. The marks carried by all the questions are equal. Each question is of 3 marks. The questions are to be answered in 50 words each.
Section II has six questions. Each question is of six marks and has to be answered in 300 words. There are choices of alternative questions associated with each question.
Section III has essay type questions, two in number. Both the questions have one alternative question each as a choice. The questions are of 20 marks each and the word limit for this section is 1200 words.
