West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT) has recently invited applications for entrance test like Common Entrance Test (CET), Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT), and Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET). Application forms can be collected either from WBUT brochure or it can be downloaded from the web portal of WBUT. Application fee for CET is Rs. 400/- and that of JEMAT and PGET is Rs. 500/-. Filled up application forms must be submitted before June 14, 2013.

Application Procedure for Common Entrance Test – CET

Candidates can apply for Common Entrance Test in the prescribed application form. Application forms are attached with WBUT brochure for CET. Brochures can be obtained from Indian Bank WBUT branch or from affiliated institutes/colleges on weekdays by paying Rs. 300/- in cash (for SC/ST candidates from West Bengal Rs. 150/- only in cash). Duly filled form along with Rs. 400/- as DD (for SC/ST candidates from West Bengal Rs. 200/- as DD) drawn from nationalized bank payable at Kolkata should be submitted. DD must be taken in favor of ‘WBUT – CET’.

Candidates can also download the application form from the official website of West Bengal University of Technology. In that case, duly filled form must be submitted along with Rs. 700/- as DD (for SC/ST candidates from West Bengal Rs. 350/- as DD) drawn from any of the nationalized banks payable at Kolkata. DD must be taken in favor of ‘WBUT – CET’.

Application Procedure for Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test - JEMAT

Application forms for Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test - JEMAT can be collected from WBUT brochure. It is possible to obtain brochures from Indian Bank WBUT branch or from affiliated institutes/colleges. It is available by paying Rs. 300/- in cash (for SC/ST candidates from West Bengal Rs. 150/- only in cash). Filled up application form along with DD of Rs. 500/- (for SC/ST candidates from West Bengal Rs. 250/- as DD) drawn in favor of ‘WBUT – JEMAT’ should be submitted. It must be payable at Kolkata. Candidates who have qualified JEMAT should pay Rs. 600/- for counseling and GD/PI. The payment should be made in the form of DD drawn from nationalized bank payable at Kolkata in favor of WBUT – JEMAT.

Application Procedure for Post Graduate Entrance Examination – PGET

Application process for PGET is same as that of JEMAT. If the candidates have downloaded the form from the website of WBUT, then the duly filled form and a Demand Draft of Rs. 800/- should be submitted to the concerned address. DD (for SC/ST candidates from West Bengal Rs. 400/- as DD) taken in favor of ‘WBUT – PGET’ should be drawn from any nationalized bank and must be payable at Kolkata. Successful candidates from PGET should pay Rs. 300/- for counseling and PI. The payment should be made in the form of DD drawn in favor of WBUT – PGET, from any of the nationalized bank payable at Kolkata.
