Assistant Conservator of Forests, Rajasthan Public Service Commission
Rajasthan Public Service Commission was founded under the Government of Rajasthan. The office of the commission is located at Jaipur Road, Ajmer. The commission is responsible for organizing competitive examinations for recruiting employees to various departments of the Government of Rajasthan. The commission actually came into existence in the year 1949. Initially, the commission was started off with one Chairman and two other members. The first Chairman of the commission was the then Cheif Justice of Rajasthan named Sir S. K. Ghosh.
Job Profile:
Rajasthan Public Service Commission is going to conduct Competitive Examinationfor Assistant Conservator for Forests 2011 for making recruitment of eligible indian citizens on the position of Assistant Conservator of Forests. Selected candidates will be recruited on the specified position in Forest Department of Government of Rajasthan.
Eligibility:
The minimum age limit set for the post of Assistant Conservator of Forests is 18 years as on 1 January 2012.
The maximum age limit set for the post of Assistant Conservator of Forests is 35 years as on 1 January 2012.
Candidates belonging to reserved categories candidates may get relaxation of few yeasr in the upper age limit set for the post. The relaxation in age will be provided to the candidates as per the rules of Government of India only.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Science from a recognized university is the minimum educational qualification required for the post of Assistant Conservator of Forests in Forest Department of Rajasthan Government. Candidates should have done Bachelor’s degree in Science with atleast Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics and Zoology as one of the subjects. Candidates who have done Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture of Engineering from a recognized university, are also eligible to apply.
No. of posts: Total 33 posts are available.
For General candidates: 19 posts are available.
For SC categories candidates: 5 posts are available.
For ST categories candidates: 3 posts are available.
For OBC categories candidates: 6 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get the prescribed amount of salary i.e. Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.
Application Fee:
All interested candidates are required to submit the prescribed amount of application fee before applying for the specified post in Forest Department of Rajasthan Government. Submission of the application fee is must for each and every candidate.
Amount of application fee for General candidates: Rs. 250 only.
Amount of application fee for OBC (non creamy layer) candidates: Rs. 150 only.
Amount of application fee for SC/ST candidates: Rs. 50 only.
How to apply: Applications will be recieved only by online mode as no other mode or means of application is accaeptable by Rajasthan Public Service Commission. Candidates can apply online at the website of Rajasthan Public Service Commission.
