Jharkhand State Electricity Board (JSEB) was established on 10.01.2001. The Jharkhand State Electricity Board was bifurcated from the existing Electricity Board of the state of Bihar working under the Government of India’s Power Generation Ministry. The Electricity Board has two 65 MW units. The Electricity Board offers extensive service through its Power substations, transmission line and distribution network.

Eligibility:

Age Criteria: The age limit for general category is 21 yrs - 35 yrs. The age limit for SC/ST is 21 yrs – 40 yrs. The age limit for BC/EBC candidates is 21 yrs – 37 yrs.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must be engineering degree holders obtained form an institution approved by the Government or its equivalent with not less than 65% of marks for candidates falling under general category, 60% of BC & EBC and 50% for SC&ST.
