National Human Rights Commission was established as an autonomous body on October 12, 1993. The commission was incorporated as a statutory body under the provisions of The Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993. Some of the major functions performed by the commission are reviewing and reccomed the remedial measures for terrorism, undertaking and promoting research in the field of human rights, encouraging the efforts of NGOs and other institution working in the field of human rights etc. Spreading literacy among various sections of society is also one of the major function of this commission.

Job Profile:

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up the following positions of Assistant Information Officer, Assistant Accounts Officer, Court Master, Private Secretary, Assistant, Inspector etc in National Human Rights Commission.

1. Recruitment of Assistant Information Officer:
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 56 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to be working as officers of Indian Information Science holding analogous posts on regular basis.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

2. Recruitment of Assistant Accounts Officer:
No. of posts: Only 3 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 56 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to be working as officers under the Central Government and should be holding analogous posts on regular basis.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4800.

3. Recruitment of Court Master:

Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 56 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to possess a Degree from a recognized university with a shothand speed of 140 words per minute and 45 owrds per minute in typing.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4800.

4. Recruitment of Private Secretary:

Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 56 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to be holding analogous posts on regular basis with atleast 8 years of experience on the post of Stenographer.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4800.

5. Recruitment of Assistant:

Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 56 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to be holding analogous posts on regular basis with atleast 5 years of experience.

6. Recruitment of Inspector:

7. Recruitment of Research Assistant:

Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to be holding analogous posts on regular basis with atleast 5 years of experience.

8. Recruitment of Constable:

Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 56 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to be working in similar or equivalent grades in the Central or State Police forces.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2000.

9. Recruitment of Staff Car Driver:

Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 56 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to be holding analogous post of Staff Car Drivers in Ministeries of the Central Government.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 1900.
