Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) was established on April 1, 1937. The headquarter of the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission is located in Allahabad. It also has a camp office in the state capital Lucknow as well. There are two spacious examination centres in Allahabad and Lucknow. The major function of the commission is to conduct written as well as the personal interview examination for making the recruitment of various government positions in the state of Uttar Pradesh only.

Job Profile:

Candidates are invited to apply for the vacant posts of Assistant Regional Inspector in Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission. Vacancies may increase or decrease in some exceptional circumstances. Only eligibel canddiates are required to apply on the specified post Assistant Regional Inspector in Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission.

Eligibility:

Candidates must have attained the prescribed minimum age limit i.e. 21 years. Candiates should also not have crossed the prescribed maximum age limit of 35 years as on 1 July 2011. Candidates must have been born in between 2 July 1976 and 1 July 1990. However, the upper age limit is relaxable for the reserved category candidates under Government of Inda rules.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have passed the High School Examination with Science as main subject from any recognized board of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates having Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering from a institute recognized by the UP Board of Technical Education or equivalent are also eligible for the post. Candidates are also required to possess atleast 3 years of practical experience of repairs and overhauling and inspection of motor vehicle in a large automobile workshop. Driving licence for Heavy Motor Vehicles is also need to be possessed by the interested candidates.

No. of posts: There are approximately 36 vacancies available for the position of Assistant Regional Inspector in Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get the prescribed amount of salary.

Selection Process:

Candidates will have to undergo both Written test as well as the personal interview for getting selected on the specified post of Assistant Regional Inspector. However, only eligible candidates will be called for the written test. And only qualified candidates of this written test will then be called for the interview test. The interview test will be taken by a selection committee and it will be organized by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission on specified date.
