Qualification needed for Banking Sector Jobs in Delhi
Candidates who wish to become Bank PO’s must have a graduate degree from any stream and must be within the age of 21 and 30. They are required to have a minimum of 60 percent marks in their finals. A 5 year age relaxation is given to students of the reserved categories.
Those who have a pass in class 12 with the appropriate marks can appear for the Bank Clerical Exams. The Bank clerical exams can be written by graduates of any background too. The applicants must be atleast 18 years and not above 28 years when they apply. A relaxation in qualification as well as age is made available for candidates of the backward categories.
Candidates who are applying for a job with the banking sector need to be computer literates at most times. Knowledge in computer programming can be quite helpful when candidates are applying for the Bank PO and Clerical posts. Therefore, the candidates must secure a certification or qualification in computer applications. Quite a few banks also recommend a diploma in banking& finance from the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance as a required qualification.
